SÃO PEDRO DA GAFANHOEIRA
São Pedro de Gafanhoeira was a parish Portuguese of County of Arraiolos, with an area of 46.12 km² and 494 inhabitants (2011). Its population density was 10.7 inhabitants/km².
It was extinguished in 2013, as part of a national administrative reform, having been added to the parish of Elderberry, to form a new parish called Union of the Parishes of Gafanhoeira (São Pedro) and Sabugueiro of which it is the headquarters.
The village of S. Pedro da Gafanhoeira is located along the north bank of the Ribeira de Vide. Its origins date back to Low Middle Ages
